sociopath's suck capThis afternoon, I received a message from a producer at HuffPost Live asking if I would be interested in participating in a live broadcast set to air tomorrow afternoon beginning at 2:30 p.m. EST.

The topic: Sociopaths!

My answer: Hell yes!

They’d like me to share some of my story and participate in the discussion about sociopaths in the media and how to deal with them in everyday life (whatever that means.)

I’ll post more details as they are provided to me.

I sure hope I can find something decent to wear. Any ideas or suggestions? πŸ™‚

  1. Paula, you rock!!
You are right, it is a totally different thing to sit and type or go “live” but when you are as knowledgable and passionate about something as you are about this topic you will find the words just come to you and the confidence will be there. Let us know so we can listen.
    You will do great!!
    Congrats!!

  2. So proud you were chosen to be our ambassador to HuffPost! Public education is the only way to offset years of conditioning by the media that psychopaths and sociopaths are just serial killers. And HuffPost is a very well-respected mainstream media vehicle in which to do so. (I started reading it from its inception, when it was just a liberal news site, but it’s grown to so much more than that.)

    You rock!

    • This is very good to know, Abbri. I follow Tina at One Mom’s Battle. She is a blogger for HuffPost and has been featured on HuffPost Live. Hopefully, she’ll be able to provide me with some additional tips and ideas of what to expect. Thank you!

  3. Something that screams YOU are perfectly happy, in control of YOUR own life, and knocks all of the sociopaths socks off! Bright, cheery, happy, sexy, confident, successful, approachable, but always with a hint of bitch!!! πŸ˜‰

    • Haha! Thank you, Lisa. It’s one thing to sit behind a computer and type. It’s an entirely new and intimidating idea to talk and be seen and heard. πŸ™‚

  4. OMG – your killing me with the trucker hat! Lol. Shirts with words and character clothes are my biggest pet peeves ever!! My son loves it (and my almost 50 year old boyfriend, really?)😝! I am sure whatever you pick will be beautiful! Yes on the make up tips! I always wear my power color, (for me, red) whatever makes you most confident. As long as your comfortable, it will radiate. Will try and find it ! Best of luck! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ˜˜πŸ˜˜!

  6. do not wear black or white as it messes with the video color balance, but do wear solid colors as patterns or stripes also do weird things on video. Wear bright red lipstick and have fun.
