Garden pagodaYesterday, my 6-year-old son Armando and I took a walk and came upon a garden pagoda like the one in the picture. He asked, “Mommy, can I have a little privacy?” Realizing it’s not always a good thing to ask “why” in the moment, I said sure and walked ahead.

In less than a minute, he caught up with me and said, “See. It doesn’t take long to meditate on those things. You know they have spirits and now the spirit is in my brain.”

  2. That is beautiful! What an aware young man he is, this is so refreshing to read, he obviously takes after his lovely and sensitive, spiritually aware mother! Congratulations, job well done, he will make a wonderful partner for whomever he chooses. The future women of the world are on their knees bowing to your efforts!

    • Hehe! Thank you. He’s very special to me, of course. He seems to know exactly when I need a hug from him or to hear him say, “I love you, Mommy.” I can’t wait to see him happy in love one day. 🙂

    • He’s very sensitive with a love for birds, deer, and fish. A few minutes after this incident, a doe and her babies crossed the path ahead of us. He made me stop and said, “We don’t want to scare them, Mommy, okay?” All I could respond was, “Okay, Baby, let’s not scare them.” Hehe!
